Like you, I was born in a place on this planet that I didn’t choose. Our experiences can vary quite a bit depending on where we were born and other factors. I’m from Switzerland. I’ve also had the chance to visit a few other places over the years.
I’m open-minded and reflective about life in general. I tend to see the bright side of things, but I’m also really concerned about issues that potentially threaten our existence.
This website and blog focus on our homeworld, and the natural and human-made systems that make it up. I’ll also express my views on mental health, mental illness, and my Recovery Journey. I’ll keep an eye on the news and share my perception of happenings worldwide. I firmly believe that we can only solve the current issues we’re facing by working together globally.
One of my core beliefs is that we humans should try to understand each other better and support each other more. Is it really impossible to have a peaceful human community? Maybe future generations will ask, “How could there have been wars?” I know it sounds rather utopian. I do believe, though, that things can change. We know that change is one of the main features of today’s world and has been throughout history.
As it stands, there are some pretty challenging situations going on around the world, and a lot of people are feeling pretty tense. It’s important to remember that this planet is our shared home and that we’re all connected. It’s time to update our thinking and adapt to new realities. So that we, as citizens of the Earth, can live and act in this complex environment and in the diversity that this world creates.
No matter where you are in the world, it shows an amazing diversity to which we have come as a whole, as humanity and all life around us. We should appreciate this and not be guided by fear or even outright rejection. Don’t we want our uniqueness to be appreciated as well?
